I am informing this Regions corporate of an incident dealing with an representative at the Fort Lauderdale, (Broward) bank. Her name is Jenifer Foster, her supervisor is Ivi Spiro....After several times walking to this bank, Jenifer Foster and other agents always seem to be in a meeting with their supervisor...I have waited sometimes 20 minutes, along with other people to get some help. !!! This day about a month ago, after not getting help calling the bank to save me coming into the bank, I request Jenifer to help me. I was already upset, in poor health, just out of the hospital, of which I asked her to open up another account for me, as there were to many people that had my banking information, of which I was to sick to put a stop to debits that caused overdrafts!!!! Jenifer states she's (Been more than nice to me) denies keeping me waiting, many times coming in for help. Furthermore she tells me, if I don't calm down, she was going to call the Police , and have me kicked out of the bank!!!!! That was all I needed....I got up, and once leaving her she said, I'll open another account for you NOW....Upon leaving the bank, my blood pressure was I'm sure the reason I ended up with Chest Pains. I am requesting that you do the Regions customer a favor and deal with both ladies, and have them send an apology to me. As far as where I opened my account one year ago, it was at the Plantation Office in Sunrise, with David Petterson, one of the nicest bankers whom I never got a chance to tell him how I was treated at the bank in Broward closer to me. I purpously withdrew $700.00 December 2nd, as my social security is all I live on. Leaving 20. cents!!! Either you compensate me for the nightmare this bank location caused, or I am switching to Wells Fargo by January 3rd.

This property was acquired by a real estate development and investment company based out of Flint Michigan. It was temporaily home to FEMA during the Alabama Tornado recovery. It is currently being converted into the headquarters for VIVA Health. Viva Health is the health insurance arm of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Plans for a hotel at this site appear dead. The facility will likely become home to additional UAB related back office functions. This building is undergoing a rapid and robust turnaround, a great sign of vitality and growth for the CBD of Birmingham Alabama.

I'm looking for a part number on a 1" NPT Stockham pipe union. In my system we're using them as a quick disconnect on a dispenser showerheads, we mix and match these showerheads.By mixing and matching I use 1/2 of a union with the 1/2 of a different union. We are adding some new shaped showerheads, my pipe vendor can't seem to find a Stockham dealer.

  • Airport Terminal, DaveKilo (guest) wrote 15 years ago:
This terminal was completed in 1972. In the 1990s, a major redevelopment and reconfiguration added a full upper level and dual-level roadways. The parking garage has also been expanded more than once. There are 19 aircraft gates, several of which can accommodate aircraft as large as the Boeing 747.
  • Kaiser Aircraft Industries, Inc., DaveKilo (guest) wrote 15 years ago:
This was built during WWII as the Birmingham Modification Center, and that is its legal name. Its original purpose was rapid conversion of early-model bombers to reconnaissance and transport roles. After the war, it became the city's to lease. For many years the tenant was Hayes International, who specialized in contract maintenance and modification of military aircraft such as KC-135, P-3, C-130 and F-4. Towards the end of the 1980s the facility lease and contracts were acquired by Pemco Aeroplex. A limitation of the facility is that the hangar heights cannot accommodate many of today's larger aircraft, but it is very suitable for smaller and mid-size. Its 10 hangar bays can accommodate over 40 KC-135 sized airplanes at once. In 2007, Pemco spun off this location as Alabama Aircraft Industries. It continues to bid for government aircraft maintenance contracts; however, the large scale KC-135 contract was awarded elsewhere in 2007. The facility is presently operating at a lower level of activity.
